Overlook, Wayne Tall Loop and Easy Access Trail Descriptions

The Overlook, Wayne Tall Loop and Easy Access trails are accessed from the south end of the preserve on the Promenade Trail. Once on the Overlook Trail you will have access to the Easy Access Trail and Wayne Tall Loop.

The Town Overlook Trail is about .5 miles with an elevation gain of +167'. The trail has ever changing views and passes superb rock outcroppings. The hiker is greeted at the top by a 360-degree panorama and interpretive plaque, which features local mountains.

The Wayne Tall Loop is a short and easy side trail off the Overlook Trail. This loop features a bench for resting and an interpretive plaque featuring local birds often seen in the preserve.

The Easy Access trail branches off the Overlook Trail early in your hike. As the name implies, it is an easy, nearly level trail .12 miles in length with a wide smooth surface. The hiker will find a bench at the end allowing for rest and taking in the views.
